Olive Green + Black Accents

Photos By: Tess Ware
Outfit Details below

Olive Green Cardigan: Nordstrom, similar here | White Tee: Nordstrom | Denim: Nordstrom, similar here {on sale} | Necklace: BaubleBar, love this here | Bag: Tradsey, Nordstrom here | Sunnies: Urban Outfitters | Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelets: Stella & Dot

Getting a new handbag is like passing another grade level. Seriously, y'all...It's hard parting with the one thing that holds all your valuables, takes a mere beating, and compliments any great outfit! After searching countless hours for the perfect bag, at a decent price, I found this beautiful girl Tory waiting to come home and play. I want to first share that yes, I spent a substantial amount on a handbag, but as I've shared in previous posts...I wear my bags until #deathdouspart.

Anyways, I want to let you in on a little secret..because {secrets don't make friends}! As I've become great at online browsing {does the hubs proud..insert eye roll}, I stumbled upon a website called Tradesy. A buy & sell designer bags, clothes, shoes, and more site. Can you say #acallfromtheheavens? You can get all items at a reduce cost including designers like Tory Burch, Louis Vitton, Michael Kors, and more. I'm usually a little spectacle about buying resale items online, but after reading several reviews {always a must} I pressed the button and landed this gorgeous Tory Burch "Robinson Pebbled" double zip tote. Best decision ever.

What are your Halloween plans? I'm a last minute kind of gal when it comes to costumes. This year we were invited to a fun gathering at a friends house. Dustin and I have a few ideas up our sleeves...stay tuned ;)

Thanks for stopping by and have a spootecular Thursday!

Flannels + Faux Leather

Flannel Top: Nordstrom, similar herehere | Faux Leather Leggings: Express, similar here | Booties: JustFab, similar here, here, and here |  Bag: Michael Kors | Bracelets: Stella & Dot here, here | Lip: Mac {Sin} | Sunnies: Urban Outfitters

There's something about leather pants that set a look on fire. I love that you can mix and match a look. Whether you want to go bold, pairing leather leggings with a faux fur vest or dressing down with a cute flannel for a date night.

Lately, whenever I pull out these show stoppers....Dustin's remark is "You look nice...are you blogging?" {not even kidding}. I'm always like...hmm I think that's a compliment or.... {I end up busting into laugher}

1. You can tell date nights around here have been few and far. 2. These past two weeks have been so rough I'm lucky to get out of my pajamas. Kidding I work all the time...and how unfortunate is it that my dress code doesn't call for comfy pajamas? {adulating isn't fair}

Anyways, sorry for the overload on flannel posts lately...but I just can't get enough y'all! FYI:I know I'm all Midwestern and {stuff}...but I've been saying y'all for quite sometime and I'm sorry but "you all" just doesn't have that spice and personality! Plus anytime there's a shortcut..I'm guilty as charged!

I hope y'all have a fantastic weekend!

Blanket scarves & Booties

Photos by: Tess Ware

Swing Dress: Dry Goods {similar Impressions here and here} | Blanket Scarf: Similar here | Boots: Similar here and here | Bag: Michael Kors here and {love this Olive one here} | Sunnies: Urban Outfitters | Lip: Mac {Sin

Fall time is no doubt my favorite time of year. I love love love layering. Layering dresses with scarves, shorts with sweaters, and fun blazers with jeans. Last year I was on the hunt for the perfect chunky blanket scarf and the hunt was finally over when I spotted this one from ShopbellaC. Unfortunately after going back to purchase another one...this one in particular along with some other cute selections were sold out. Here are some similar picks from {ShopbellaC}, very similar {Zulily}, and this from {Lulus} paired nicely with a Carmel or plum sweater!

I've mentioned in previous posts that often times being 5'8 has its disadvantages {but really}. This lovely Dry Goods Swing Dress is absolutely adorable on...however too short for my liking. After two attempts to style it...I decided pairing it with some leggings and the perfect knee high boots would complete this look perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by!

One of the best sales of the year is live now! The SHOPBOP Friends and Family Sale! Perfect for Christmas and gift ideas for the men in your life {hint hint, ladies}. I've listed some of my favorite picks from this years sale. All in which are perfect staple pieces.

Snag this Tory Burch Pebbled Bag in black or cognac. I purchased this bag two days ago in black and lets just say...I found a new side kick {sorry MK, step aside}. I love all the different compartments, great for organizing {lord knows I need help in that department}!

Need I say more about this top? I mean come on... one word #PERFECT.

I adore these Splendid Suede boots. You can't beat this price and the height of the heel is perfect for a casual or dressy look. Throw a flannel on with these show stoppers and you have a completed look!

If you've visited my closet...you would've noticed  I'm a sucker for T-shirts with witty wording {say that three times}. This eat-pray-hustle is just the cutest. #truelife

If I had to chose a color to rock it would be blush. I am lusting over this Rebecca Minkoff tote! How fabulous, right? When I'm ready to break it off with Tory...I'll be on to Rebecca..{sounds like lyrics from a Petey Pablo song...}.

Leopard... the fabric of my life..{see what I did there}? Not real leopard but haircalf {I'm not sure what that means...don't judge me} anyways.... I dig. I dig...A LOT. I live in flats when I'm running around seeing patients at the hospital so these will be there perfect touch!

Lately I've been on a sweater and cardigan binge lately...I'm loving all the soft material and longer lengths, perfect for pairing leggings and boots with. My main squeeze {aka go to color} has been cream. Everything about this cable knit screams COZY.

I've been eyeing this Clare V Leopard clutch for over a year now and I just feel like..what is a girl to do? Dustin and I are headed to Maui for our honeymoon in January and this would be the perfect clutch to carry around!

I purchased these Karen Walker Super Duper Sunnies during last years SHOPBOP Friends & Family sale...NO REGRETS. If you haven't noticed they've made quite the debut in all of my postings...I mean...so much, I'm saving for another pair as we speak!

Make sure to check out this sale and move fast as these items go quick! You can't go wrong with 25% off! Use code {INTHEFAM25}.

The Best of Flannels

Photos: Tess Ware {Book your mini session}!
Outfit deets below

Flannel Top: Impressions Boutique | Denim: Nordstrom | Boots: Similiar here and here | Sunnies: Here | Bag: Similar here and here | Bracelets: Stella & Dot here, here and here

Hello all you beautiful souls! I'm feeling refreshed after jumping back on the workout wagon. Yes, I tend to jump off once in a while..and that gets you nowhere but sore. LET me tell you. Side note, I was so excited when {I had thought} I had found the perfect leaf pile. Tess was quick to point out these were in fact not leaves, but mashed up...well, I don't know. Whatever they are! That's okay though....I'll just find the whole pile next time.

Snag this comfy and amazing Shop Impressions flannel here. I can't say enough great things about this flannel and Impressions boutique in general! Fast delivery and quality pieces. Below I've listed a ton of cute flannels for fall! Flannels are a piece that can be dressed up for a night out or worn for a casual look. I love the idea of throwing a faux fur vest over. I'm all about redressing a look! FYI: The models are so petite and gorgeous...as you can see this 5'8 {ish} girl isn't about to wear this without a pair of leggings or denim, but if you're below those digits...I envy you. This flannel here looks absolutely darlin' as a flannel tunic!

I'll be posting a lot of flannel outfits inspirations... SORRY in advance! Love this flannel here, here, here, and here! {ENJOY}!

As always, thanks for stopping by!
