Grey Tunic: HM  {under $20!} love this here // White Tank: Similar here and here // Distressed Denim: Nordstrom // Strappy Sandals: Similar here and love these in tan here // White Snakeskin Clutch: Similar here {GiGi New York, ADORE} // Lip: Mac {Cream in Your Coffee} with Mac {Stripdown Lip Liner} Necklace: Stella & Dot {My absolute go to} // Bracelets: Stella & Dot here and here

I have to brag about my latest find you all.  I've been on the hunt for the perfect distressed boyfriend jean..not to mention having spent countless hours roaming the Internet but coming up empty handed {#completefail}. Finally, my friend Brooke and I thought it would be fun to take a spontaneous trip to the ole' Mall of America. You know, every woman's dream and every guys nightmare? Not only was I determined, but she as well. Of course our first stop was to Nordstrom {#nordygirlsforlife} can you say {#thisgirlwasinheaven}.

So, after trying on 100+ pairs, in all honestly I think Brooke had me beat, I found these amazingggg BLANKNYC' distressed denim and let me tell you...I'M OBSESSED. Not to mention there the perfect price at $88 dollars. A spring/summer staple piece for sure ladies. I can't wait to just throw these on with a perfect Tee and a cute summer sandal. Anyways, I hope you enjoy your Sunday Funday....I'm off to finish a 12 hour shift. Wish me luck, but who needs luck when you have coffee :).

Thanks for stopping loves!

Boho Chic

Navy Blazer: Similar here and here // White Blouse: Forever21 {love this here} // Tribal shorts: Forever21 // Brown Sandals: Old {LOVE these here, here, and here} // Panama Hat: Nordstrom // Fringe purse: Similar here and here // Sunnies: Wish list here //

I'm pretty sure I never want this weather to leave. It was defiantly somewhere sunny and 75..but here! I live for the days when it starts to feel like spring. You can never predict Iowa weather. One day it's 50's with high winds, the next 75 and sunny, and then you have snow in May {Don't worry I knocked on wood}.

Anyways, this look all together is under $100. I always shoot for reasonable pieces with maybe a little spurge here and there {You have to treat yourself!} These Boho shorts are darling and so comfortable. I must admit shorts aren't really my thing. Either they fit too lose at the top and tight around the legs or are too short in length period. I'm loving all the bright and printed shorts this season. I'm definitely looking forward to adding more to my closet! Also, these brown sandals are one of my favorites from last year. I made sure to link some similar ones, including these here that are on my wish list!

Happy Thursday loves!

She Get It From Her Auntie

Blush Leather Jumpsuit: Forever21 { Adore the Jumpsuits as well and all $100 or less} 1. Here 2. Here 3. Here 4. Here  5. Here // Necklace: Baublebar // Sandals: Old navy {available in two colors}   // Snakeskin clutch: similar here {on sale} Khloe- Dress: Target // Sandals: Old Navy // Sunnies: Target

What a fun day this was you all! I ended up missing my niece Khloe's 5th birthday. I was super bummed and I refuse to believe she's growing up so fast! It truly makes me cherish every little moment I get to spend with her. So of course our day couldn't go unplanned, we started out with breakfast and girl talk which lead to Khloe talking about wanting to be a doctor "for babies" when she grows up {#proudauntie #nooneisstoppingyou}. After breakfast Khloe had created a little map of places we were to go that day {she has a very creative mind}.

Our next stop was to the grocery store so Khloe could pick out some cherries. This girl can't get enough cherries in her life! After that stop we continued our day doing a little shopping at Target and Old Navy where Khloe picked out a birthday gift {this adorable outfit}. I get a kick out of what catches this little girls attention. When we first walked into Old Navy she spotted Ninja Turtle sunglasses and a toy snake. As much as she can be a girly girl, she loves all things Ninja Turtle, bugs/critters, and adventuress.

After we arrived back to my place, I asked Khloe if she would like to do her very own photo shoot. Her eyes lit up, she smiled really big, and said "like modeling?" We met Tess, my really cool photographer who puts up with my late shenanigans, and as soon as we began taking pictures..Khloe became camera shy. It took her a little bit to warm up but she gave it her best Iowa girl charm. It was such an amazing day and one I'll be able to share with her when she gets older. FYI: On a hilarious note...Dustin, my fiance while looking at these pictures made the comment, "She literally looks like your child. Attitude and all!" I'll take that as a compliment ;).

Due to it being #TGIF....I wanted to share a little more about me. What I like, my faults, my addictions, what represents who I am, what molds me, etc...etc.

1. My real name is Amanda Nicole. At a young age I decided Mandy was more suitable so it stuck with me. Everyone calls me Mandy. However, those of you who go by a  nickname know in documentation or at work you provide your real name. It never fails people say, "whose Amanda?" or call me Amanda and I don't respond {it's not my name, right? ha ha}

2. My profession is Social Work. It's definitely a unique one. Everyday I'm challenged to grow a little more, to do things out of my comfort zone, and to remind myself to see the good in all things. The bad, the true, the ugly. I am proud of my profession and I take it very seriously. While working in an ER can be difficult, it feels great to be surrounded by a team of nurses and doctors who experience and see what I see... but are able to keep things lively and fresh. I love the fast pace and the different scenarios in an ER environment as well {anything goes!}. I'm sure your wondering why I didn't say "helping others." I feel I don't just help others, but help them understand what resources, options, and care they can chose to have. Of course throwing in humor also helps because the ER is such a fun place to be said no patient ever.

3. I'm the definition of a procrastinator. Seriously, look it up...my name should be there. If not its well on its way! Really though....I'm procrastinating as well speak. It's hard to get out of bed when your catching up with the Bachelor, blogging, and getting your coffee fix in.

4. 155 days until my wedding!! I'm so flippin' excited you all! Planning has been so much fun and so has registering for gifts. Well, I think so...maybe not so much Dustin. Registering for gifts at Target is like giving this girl a loaded gun {well technically we had one} and yes I wasn't "gun shy." Sorry family! Oh by the way, I feel like going into planning was a breeze...but with the count down rolling so fast...the pressure is on. In fact, I find myself feeling like an inexperienced teenager trying to put makeup on for the first time {I still don't really know how to do makeup} Conversations start and end like this..."I think this...Well, I think.." A lot of "I thinks!" ha ha.

5. I'm addicted to Spearmint gum, Starbucks coffee, anything flamming hot, gold anything {not chainz, ha ha}, HGTV, Mystery/Murder shows, Nicholas Sparks {Am I right ladies?}
peanut butter, Instagram, boxers {the dog breed}, summer boat rides, S'more, kickboxing, graphic Tee's, bestie bonding time, chunky statement pieces, anchors, a good glass of wine, rustic decor, wallflowers, motivational quotes, monograms, movie nights, breakfast, the perfect heel or bootie, cheetah print, naps, music {anything, depending on my mood}, and meeting new people, going to new places, and trying new things!

I hope you have a wonderful Friday! Thanks you so so much for following me and allowing me to rant about my life and my love for fashion! I hope to continue to keep up with this fun little hobby, helping you answer any fashion forward questions, sharing great deals, and above all growing as a person.

Baby Its Cold Outside

//  Click the links below for outfit details //
// Pictures by: Tess Ware //

Sweater: Forever21 {Similar here and here} // Jeans: Treasure and Bond // Boots: Old {adore these here and here} // Bag: Steve Madden {Von Maur} // Tassel Earrings: love these here and here // Sunnies: Michael Kors {Similar here and here} //

Happy Hump Day! If you're reading this...you've made it half way through the work week, go you! If you haven't noticed....the snow hasn't left. There's been many days where my rad photographer Tess Ware joins me in this crazy hobby, cold weather and all. However, this particular day was insanely cold {says Tess...ha ha} so, we captured some of this look indoors. Towards the end I persuaded Tess to take a couple shots outside....and this is how the conversation went. Tess: "It's freezinggggg outside." Me: "It actually feels nice out with the sun." Tess: "I can see your breath..." Valid statement. Very valid statement. So yes, it's been freezing and I'm in some serious denial.

Onto this look. I scored this cozy sweater from Forever21. I usually object to buying sweaters this late into winter, but if you've lived an Iowa or have been to...winter tends to drag on and on. At times it's a super bummer...because well,  I'm more than ready for bright prints, sandals, and simple layers. This look was meant to be simplistic and chic. I love these old Naughty Monkey boots and although like some of the stuff lingering in my closet, I try to find similar pieces you lovelies will enjoy. On that note, if you ever have any questions or feel a product isn't close to what you're looking for...don't hesitate to contact me at mandynicoleblog@gmail.com. I love hearing from all of you and most definitely can answers any questions. I hope you enjoy this simply winter look.
