Y'all how cute is this Nordstrom Lush shift dress? I scored this lovely during Nordstrom's big Anniversary Sale...while I'm deeply disappointed I was unable to share my finds, don't worry you'll see me in this amazing dress along with my other picks on repeat. 

This year when I shopped the sale, I had my mind set to purchase and enjoy fall staples...like this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody Bag.. can you say #crushing? This has been my ride or die for weddings, showers, and a night out! The tassels and hardware make this bag pretty much amazing! 

Anyways, with the air getting crispy and fall drawing near..you can say I'm excited..okay ecstatic for sweaters, fall boots, and everything pumpkin flavored or scent. Bring on college football, nights wrapped in a throw with a good book, and a good smelling candle. #basicbutIlikeit.

Excuse me while I #throwitwayback to those glory days of Polly Pockets, Smackers lip gloss, and mash {which was never legit guys..I would literally re-do mine like 18 times..I was going to marry Brad Pitt Dammit}. Seriously though...I don't care if it screams Full House..Denim + Romper = Grown kid status {no shame. None at all}! 

I scored this lovely two weekends ago while in the Ozarks for my bachelorette weekend at Loft Outlet. You know when you're just filling something  {I call that Rack Raves}...yeah, I just knew. Kind of like Starbucks and long john donuts..it just makes sense. I hope everyone had a beautiful 4th with family and friends. Freedom is beautiful and I cherish everyday I am able to wake up and make my own choices {like coffee and cheat days}..but in all seriousness it's such a liberating feeling! Plus...the story behind Independence Day is pretty amazing..#semihistorynerd.

I mean lets be real. Accessories are a girls best friend. Every time I open a box, unwrap it's goodness, and try on that piece of heaven....okay you get it. In all seriousness it's not diamonds that win my heart over, it's any type of jewelry. 

My favorite accessories this summer is this fun neon tassel necklace I got last year in a cute little boutique. However, I was so excited when I spotted all of these adorable tassels here from Shopbellac! These tassel bracelets from Baublebar as well here...ugh #swoon. I'm sure it comes in no surprise either...that I totally crush on anything gold. I'm slightly  ridiculously smitten by this Baublebar Gold Spiked Bib here and wait for it....the necklace I wear over like its going out of style here from Baublebar is $20 for a limited time!! Girl, you would be crazy not to. 

Anyways...I feel like its totally unacceptable not to share my go to- Aka best of the best jewelry hot spots!

1. Baublebar- After my first order, I became forever committed. The turn around time alone is amazing and the packaging...now that's just fun! Trust me when I say...you need Bauble jewels in your life. Like yesterday! Currently crushing here and here. 

2. Stella & Dot: Speaking of delivering...Stella & Dot is without a doubt top notch quality! I literally have worn my spiked gold bracelet here and recently re-purchased one because I'm that in lust with it. Talk about not wanting to let go....woofta. My current favorites are here and here. I have mad love for cocktail rings. 

3. Nordstrom: Need I say more?! It's like The Mall of America of jewelry. What I love about online shopping and Nordstrom in particular is the search bar. Its as easy as typing in "necklace..." instantly getting a variety of options, and choosing a color and price. It pretty much shops for you ;). I recently committed to this Kendra Scott turquoise tassel necklace here that I've been eyeing for a year now!! I can't wait to bust this beauty out and take her on a night out...ha ha. BUT REALLY. 

4. Ily Couture: Not only is Hellofashion Blog amazing...but hello reasonable jewelry and other accessory cuteness! I've been going back and forth between this fun neon statement necklace here and this Geo Pendant here. Decisions...decisions!

I love wedding planning. I repeat I LOVE wedding planning. However, consider this less complaining and more of a shout out anthem for all my brides to be....okay, w(h)ine, not the actual drinking kind unfortunately. It appears I am running a wedding marathon only the kind where you're this close to crossing the finish line and you trip, fall, and have a terrible blooper... {Definition: EPIC FAIL}.  It's a great laugh now but I have officially ordered 100+ extra save the dates {don't ask, I won't tell}, had our Reverend deliver the bad news she can no longer marry us due to a conference that comes once a year...and it happens to be on our wedding day, and now I caught possible wind that a seamstress may not be all that credible...however I have yet to figure that one out. It's just wedding madness you all! BUT... I consider them minor set backs and its not like it can't be resolved with an entire bag of Boom Chicka Pop {the be all end all people}. 

Whose been loving on all of these cute printed rompers this season? I'm an absolute awe with all the different styles. In fact I'm trying to locate my inner boldness to give the two piece romper a try... I just can't quite commit fully. However, its a great day {who am I kidding...a great year} when I find a romper that fits in length. There's nothing less attractive then...well you know {ha ha}. Happy Memorial Day Weekend loves! I kept myself busy working on wedding necessities and taking a few breaks here and there to shop this weekends amazing sales. The weather hasn't been the greatest, but it gives me an excuse to catch up on wedding planning and house duties...BLAH {to house duties}. You all...on Saturday I went to try my wedding dress on and fell in love all over again...I'm so excited!! Anyways,  speaking of sales...I listed a ton of my favorites down below!

Happy Saturday loves! Is it me or can the weekends be intimidating? I'm definitely in most ways Type B personality... but when it comes to feeling like I have things to do... I can quickly become Type A. Other times I look at everything on my list of things "to do" and avoid it at all costs {kind of like right now, ha ha....}. Yes, I am in fact an avid list maker. No that doesn't put me in the OCD category. My theory is...if it's in your head it's not safe. If its on a piece of paper... your good to forget it and revisit it next week {or month}.

Anyways enough with the Friedman talk and more about this to die for Shopbellac Orange Chiffon Skater dress! The weekend ended with rain and began with rain...but that's okay because we need it here in Iowa! I always laugh so hard because Tess is always teasing me about wearing sunglasses up until the last sunbeam {it's true}! I have a mild obsession with sunnies! Sometimes {Always} I make a secret "wish list." Usually a pair of sunnies always makes an appearance on the list. When I saw the Karen Walker sunglass collection, I literally died and went to sunglass heaven. Although I consumed sticker shock..I knew I had to get my hands on a pair. These pictured here are one of my "save" finds. Although they aren't Karen Walker...there my Karen Walker "wanna be's" and I adore them! It's not all about the brand, but lord knows I like my designers. 

I wanted to share my top five pair of "save" wanna be designer sunnies, Enjoy!

1. Emma Sunglasses- Urban Outfitters. This pair comes in five different colors and believe me there all amazing!

2. Tildon 45mm Sunglasses- Nordstrom. Can you say "come to mama!" I have my eyes on these...literally! I'm a sucker for blush pink. 

3.  Taupe Hit the Road Sunglasses- Windsor. This style comes in four different colors. Wait for it... ONLY for $8.90. 

4. Steve Madden 55mm Sunglasses- Nordstrom. These put the meow into cat eye! These are so fun. 

5. Goldendaze Square Sunglasses- Urban Outfitters. These are the "save" Dolce&Gabbana shades. These are amazing and I love saves vs splurges!

Phew, as I'm settling into bed and of course playing catch up, I can't help but to feel overwhelming joy. Although this weekend was go, go go, I started it with family and ended it with family {#blessed}. So, here is my weekend recap. It started off with my wonderful mama shopping for wedding center pieces {and of course shopping}. I've said it before and I'll say it again..wedding planning thus far as been so fun! 

With the big details blowing in the wind...there still comes the small details. Everyone says, "It's the big things that count." or "No one pays attention to the small details." All of which are probably accurate...except when your OCD about the "small details" and you were born OVER-observant. Yes, dramatic but {#truelife} I'm a perfectionist. So here comes my melt down rant...{don't worry it won't last. I'll be off making a new mental list}. I feel way over my head with these small details. Nothing is more rewarding then checking an item off the to do list..but nothing is more overwhelming when adding five more! What's that saying...one step forward...two steps back? NAILED IT. 

What keeps a girl grounded in a time of weddingwhelmness {Yes, I made that word up}? Family, friends, and the "little details" of life. I realize while my mind may be full....my heart can as well. Translation... when my heart is full, my mind becomes less of a distraction and block because I know at the end of the day...I get to marry my best friend...with the most important family and friends a girl could ask for! 

Side distraction...isn't this location magical? Of course my photographer never disappoints {Tess you my girl}! I'm loving mixed prints this season! I feel like my five year old self again, when mom was away, and dad would say "you can pick out what you want to wear today." To say the least...I'm still learning...but challenge accepted.

Happy Hump Day! If you're reading this...you've made it half way through the work week, go you! If you haven't noticed....the snow hasn't left. There's been many days where my rad photographer Tess Ware joins me in this crazy hobby, cold weather and all. However, this particular day was insanely cold {says Tess...ha ha} so, we captured some of this look indoors. Towards the end I persuaded Tess to take a couple shots outside....and this is how the conversation went. Tess: "It's freezinggggg outside." Me: "It actually feels nice out with the sun." Tess: "I can see your breath..." Valid statement. Very valid statement. So yes, it's been freezing and I'm in some serious denial. 

Onto this look. I scored this cozy sweater from Forever21. I usually object to buying sweaters this late into winter, but if you've lived an Iowa or have been to...winter tends to drag on and on. At times it's a super bummer...because well,  I'm more than ready for bright prints, sandals, and simple layers. This look was meant to be simplistic and chic. I love these old Naughty Monkey boots and although like some of the stuff lingering in my closet, I try to find similar pieces you lovelies will enjoy.
