I mean lets be real. Accessories are a girls best friend. Every time I open a box, unwrap it's goodness, and try on that piece of heaven....okay you get it. In all seriousness it's not diamonds that win my heart over, it's any type of jewelry. 

My favorite accessories this summer is this fun neon tassel necklace I got last year in a cute little boutique. However, I was so excited when I spotted all of these adorable tassels here from Shopbellac! These tassel bracelets from Baublebar as well here...ugh #swoon. I'm sure it comes in no surprise either...that I totally crush on anything gold. I'm slightly  ridiculously smitten by this Baublebar Gold Spiked Bib here and wait for it....the necklace I wear over like its going out of style here from Baublebar is $20 for a limited time!! Girl, you would be crazy not to. 

Anyways...I feel like its totally unacceptable not to share my go to- Aka best of the best jewelry hot spots!

1. Baublebar- After my first order, I became forever committed. The turn around time alone is amazing and the packaging...now that's just fun! Trust me when I say...you need Bauble jewels in your life. Like yesterday! Currently crushing here and here. 

2. Stella & Dot: Speaking of delivering...Stella & Dot is without a doubt top notch quality! I literally have worn my spiked gold bracelet here and recently re-purchased one because I'm that in lust with it. Talk about not wanting to let go....woofta. My current favorites are here and here. I have mad love for cocktail rings. 

3. Nordstrom: Need I say more?! It's like The Mall of America of jewelry. What I love about online shopping and Nordstrom in particular is the search bar. Its as easy as typing in "necklace..." instantly getting a variety of options, and choosing a color and price. It pretty much shops for you ;). I recently committed to this Kendra Scott turquoise tassel necklace here that I've been eyeing for a year now!! I can't wait to bust this beauty out and take her on a night out...ha ha. BUT REALLY. 

4. Ily Couture: Not only is Hellofashion Blog amazing...but hello reasonable jewelry and other accessory cuteness! I've been going back and forth between this fun neon statement necklace here and this Geo Pendant here. Decisions...decisions!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend loves! I kept myself busy working on wedding necessities and taking a few breaks here and there to shop this weekends amazing sales. The weather hasn't been the greatest, but it gives me an excuse to catch up on wedding planning and house duties...BLAH {to house duties}. You all...on Saturday I went to try my wedding dress on and fell in love all over again...I'm so excited!! Anyways,  speaking of sales...I listed a ton of my favorites down below!

I found myself browsing through the workout section on Nordstrom's site ...{I think it's my body dropping some serious hints}.  Of course if you're anything like me it's painful to buy workout clothes at full price...{its already bad enough we have to force ourselves to go...you feel me}? Anyways... its on my MUST DO list to do some shredding before the wedding. What's your guys favorite workout classes and meal plans?

Raise your hand if you're more than ready for winter to be over {I don't think my hand can raise any higher...sigh}. I love Iowa, I love seasons, but I am so ready for spring. Wah I know {ha ha}! One thing I do love about winter months are layers, layers, and more layers. I think I've outworn this lovely military vest and my oh my does it go nicely with different looks. Although this one was from last season, I've been looking effortlessly to find a military jacket that I can outwear as well...I'm thinking this one here and here. Thoughts?

 

Confession, I use to be that person who would try on clothes, think ahhhhh, and just purchase it. I'm actually very selective and conscious of what I purchase because A. I'm a sucker for bargains and B. It's all about the fit. When I describe my body type I say that I'm "hippy" and the normal response is "oh my gosh stop." Don't get me wrong there are days I stare in the mirror and think....was that half of box of girl scout cookies really worth it {Peanut Butter Patties to be exact} and damn it my heart tells me yes...but my body rolls it eyes in utter regret.. {yes I just said that}. However, I do adore my curves but playing up certain portions is crucial and getting it right isn't always a breeze.

 

A little advice....and I'm no expert...{so lessons I've learned} the outer layer piece of clothing always looks flattering longer than the piece that is being layered {if that makes sense, ha ha..example sweater layered with a longer vest or jacket}, skinny legged denim highlights any good curve {make sure the length isn't an awkward length}, and a sleek black bootie which accentuates the legs making them appear longer. That's my fashion two cents and again...those have been some of my go to tricks.

 

Anyways, I'm a day late and a dollar short..I wanted to inform you all of the great President Sale BaubleBar had for grabs and well.... I missed out on the deal.
